QIBA Conformance Certification

Pilot Project

The RSNA Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers Alliance® (QIBA®) seeks to improve the value and practicality of quantitative imaging biomarkers by reducing variability across devices, sites, patients, and time. Toward this goal, QIBA is collaborating with Accumetra to explore automated and efficient methods for confirming that institutions are following QIBA specifications for achieving a high level of quantitative imaging performance, which are distributed as QIBA Profile specification documents.

What is the QIBA Conformance Certification Pilot Project?

This pilot project provides phantoms and computing services that serve as an option for demonstrating conformance with the current version of the QIBA CT Small Lung Nodule Profile. The project is also exploring methods for certifying that clinical sites, scanner vendors, and software analysis vendors are conforming to the specifications in QIBA profiles.
